Katherine Harrell, Custom Program Manager

Katherine, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, earned a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2011. During her time at Samford, Katherine spent a semester in 2009 studying in London, England, at the university's study center, the Daniel House. This experience led her to become an enthusiastic advocate for study abroad, particularly among university students. She returned to London in January of 2011 to work as the student assistant at the Daniel House. After graduating from Samford, Katherine spent seven months backpacking through New Zealand, working in various capacities and exploring. In the fall of 2012, she entered the Literary Studies Master's program at the University of Denver. She completed her Master's degree and became the ISA Site Specialsit for New Zealand and Fiji in 2014. She joined the ISA Custom Programs team in 2016. Along with England and New Zealand, she has spent time in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico, Peru, Haiti, Thailand, Cambodia, and Australia.
