MEET THE CP TEAM

Lindsey Capps, Custom Program Manager and Outreach Coordinator

Born in Arkansas and raised in Kentucky, Lindsey began her adventures in international education during her undergraduate career at the University of Kentucky. A love of language and literature inspired Lindsey to major in International Studies, concentrating on literature, culture, and the arts within Europe. Every additional class of language acquisition, every classic and modern book of literature, and every essay analyzing European history increased her understanding of cultural practices, beliefs, and social systems. In 2012, Lindsey spent a semester studying Spanish Language and Culture in Salamanca, Spain with ISA. She enriched her study abroad experience by traveling to Portugal, Italy, Belgium, and Ireland. A global understanding helped her grow as a scholar and as an individual. It also influenced her career path, as she now aspires to provide other students with the opportunity to discover and learn abroad. Lindsey worked as a Global Ambassador at the ISA-Kentucky Office during the rest of her undergraduate career. In 2015, she joined the team in the ISA-Kentucky Office as Custom Program and Outreach Coordinator.
