Depending on your program, students may or may not receive a transcript from the ISA host university. If your program does include a foreign university transcript, the process will be as follows:

  • Transcripts are sent to ISA from the foreign university. Because university schedules differ, it may take as long as 3-4 months for ISA to receive the official transcripts from the host university after the completion of an ISA program.
  • ISA will send the original transcript and a cover letter directly to your university.
  • Students are advised to check with the appropriate office at your home university to make sure their credits are transferred properly.
  • Depending on your university, study abroad credit transfer may be handled by the admissions, study abroad, or a registrar's office.

Please note that if students have an outstanding balance with ISA, transcripts will be held until the balance is paid.
