Admissions

During recruitment for your program, your Custom Program Manager will consult with you and your study abroad office regarding student admissions. During this conversation, your Custom Program Manager will describe in detail the ISA forms that will be required for your program. A list of forms that are generally required can be found below.

Your university will set the minimum requirements for applicants and process applications for your university program. Once the minimum number of students is accepted into your university program, your Custom Program Manager should receive the final student roster on or before the deadline specified in the program contract, generally 75 days before program departure.

Your Custom Program Manager will send registration links to your students for the ISA Student Portal. Student will log-in to the Portal in order to register with ISA and complete the required forms for your program.
During the admissions and form submission process, your Custom Program Manager will frequently be in touch with both students and faculty to ensure that all program preparations are on schedule and are going as smoothly as possible.

Student Portal

The portal will be customized for your program and will include the following forms:

General

  • ISA Code of Conduct (read and digitally signed)
  • Passport Copy (scanned and uploaded)
  • Digital Photo (uploaded as a JPEG)

Travel/Itinerary

  • Travel Responsibility and Release Form (read and digitally signed)
  • How to Book Your Flight (read and digitally signed)
  • Flight Itinerary (scanned and uploaded)

Visa

  • Visa Responsibilities Form (read and digitally signed)
  • STEP Embassy Registration Form

Health and Medical

  • Medical History Form (completed and digitally signed)
  • Health Clearance Form (PDF to be signed by a health professional, scanned and uploaded)
  • Medical Treatment & Emergency Funds (read and digitally signed)

Housing

  • Housing Questionnaire (completed and digitally signed)
  • Housing Contract (read and digitally signed)

Academics

  • Pre-Registration Form (completed and digitally signed, if applicable)

If there is significant overlap between your university’s forms and ISA’s forms, we may be able to streamline the process for students by coordinating with you on forms requirements.

Your Custom Program Manager will have direct access to the forms completed by your students on the Student Portal, so we will follow-up with students about required forms. However, we are happy to coordinate with universities on students’ progress, should you prefer to remain the point person for student paperwork.

Please note that forms will be due approximately six weeks prior to departure, unless otherwise noted in the Student Portal.
