An army brat, Theresa was born in Germany and has been traveling ever since. After settling down in her family's home state of Texas, Theresa attended Texas A&M University where she earned her B. A. in English and Spanish in 2011. During her undergraduate years, Theresa took every opportunity to experience new cultures, traveling to Mexico, Nicaragua, and eventually studying abroad in beautiful Salamanca, Spain with ISA, an event which cemented her passion for international learning. Upon graduation, Theresa moved to Boston, MA to get her certification in teaching ESL to adults. While she had a blast teaching the very complicated language of English and attending Red Sox games with students studying abroad in the USA, she made the decision to relocate to Austin, TX (a city considerably closer to home) and joined the ISA team shortly thereafter in 2014. Theresa could not be more thrilled to be a Student Services Representative and cannot wait to share her excitement for real-world learning and sharing with prospective study abroad students. In her free time, you will find Theresa experimenting with questionable recipes in the kitchen, hanging out with friends and family, and finding the best day-trips around Austin.

Born in Arkansas and raised in Kentucky, Lindsey began her adventures in international education during her undergraduate career at the University of Kentucky. A love of language and literature inspired Lindsey to major in International Studies, concentrating on literature, culture, and the arts within Europe. Every additional class of language acquisition, every classic and modern book of literature, and every essay analyzing European history increased her understanding of cultural practices, beliefs, and social systems. In 2012, Lindsey spent a semester studying Spanish Language and Culture in Salamanca, Spain with ISA. She enriched her study abroad experience by traveling to Portugal, Italy, Belgium, and Ireland. A global understanding helped her grow as a scholar and as an individual.
